US THE DUO Perform A Special Show At LA’s Ace Theater in Celebration of Their Recent Holiday Album, ‘Our Favorite Time Of Year’!

Last Saturday night (December 9), the husband and wife duo Us The Duo performed to a sold out crowd at the downtown Los Angeles venue, Ace Theater. For roughly an hour and a half, the couple, Michael and Carissa Alvarado, sang songs off their newly released holiday album, ‘Our Favorite Time of Year.’ (Amazon Prime members are able to stream the show, only on Prime Video.)

This collection features their own spin on classics like “Wonderful Christmastime,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “December,” “Silent Night,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and a few originals like “Christmas in Paradise” and “Feels Like Christmas.” ‘Our Favorite Time Of Year’ is now available for purchase on Amazon Music here Amazon.com/ustheduo.

During the special show, the two talked a lot about how much they love the holidays, “Some of the best memories we’ve had in our lives happened during the holidays. Whether it’s spending time with family, eating the delicious food, or starting new traditions, we will always claim Christmas as our favorite time of year.”

With a social media following of over 7 million, it’s no wonder the crowd was boisterous and couldn’t wait to get to their seats for the night. Hours before the show, a line wrapped around the venue. From start to finish, Michael and Carissa were delightfully charming and entertaining. Together with the incredible festive stage, and their lighthearted Christmas spirits, one couldn’t help but smile and enjoy the holiday ride.

This couple certainly has come a long way from their six-second covers on Vine that launched them to prominence in 2013. Since then, Us The Duo has signed to Republic Records and now released four full-length studio albums, “Us” (2012), “No Matter Where You Are” (2014), “Just Love” (2016) and now “Our Favorite Time of Year.”
