All Access recently had the pleasure of attending the My 2K Tour Launch Party in Los Angeles celebrating the upcoming “My 2K Tour.” The tour starts on July 8th in Kansas and ends on August 28th in California.
In true 2K fashion, the tour boasts some of the biggest acts from the 2000’s- Dream, Ryan Cabrera, O-Town and 98 Degrees.
So what have all these bands been up to lately?
Dream: Dream is made up of Holly Blake-Arnstein, Diana Ortiz, Ashley Poole and Melissa Schuman. They first became popular with their big in 2000, “He Loves U Not.” They have released two albums, “It Was All A Dream” and “Reality.” They are currently working on new material for an upcoming album.
Ryan Cabrera: In 2004, Ryan released his first major-label album called “Take It All Away.” “On The Way Down” became his biggest single hitting number one on airplay charts and peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. He has released four full-length albums, “Elm St.”, “Take It All Away”, “You Stand Watching” and “The Moon Under Water.”
O-Town: As of 2015 the group consists of Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood and Dan Miller. The band formed from the first season of the MTV–produced reality television series Making the Band in 2000. Their biggest hits are “All Or Nothing”, “Liquid Dreams” and “We Fit Together.” They have released three studio albums, “O-Town”, “O2” and “Lines And Circles.” They are currently working on new material.
98 Degrees: Originally from Ohio, 98 Degrees consists of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons. They have sold over 10 million records worldwide and achieved eight top 40 singles in the U.S. They’ve put out 4 full-length studio albums, “98 Degrees”, “98 Degrees And Rising”, “Revelation” and “2.0.” Their hit songs include “Invisible Man”, “Because Of You”, “The Hardest Thing” and “I Do (Cherish You).”

At the launch party, attendees got to hear all the bands perform a couple hits, enjoy tasty treats and cocktails and even snap a few pictures with the artists too.
