Have you seen the very touching video for One Direction’s latest single “Story Of My Life?” In it the guys take a moment to intentionally pause from their lifestyle of boy band pandemonium, to reflect on their past, and remember how they got where they are now. To do this the guys enlisted the help of green screen technology and the vision of director Ben Winston to make something that goes well beyond your average boy band video. While looking through the past, the guys get digitally placed in old real life photographs of themselves with the real life family members that are in the picture with them. Although they are all still fairly young, it provides fans the opportunity to see how far they’ve come as people, and gives them a nice element of tenderness to share through their nostalgic moments.
