It’s Friday which always means new music! Here are some new ones to take you into the weekend:
“Reaching Out” by Dillon Francis & Bow Anderson
Electronic DJ and producer Dillon Francis taps U.K. pop singer and songwriter Bow Anderson for the feel-good anthem “Reaching Out” that drops alongside the announcement of Francis‘ third album which is set release on October 5th (the DJ’s birthday.) Made during quarantine, the producer notes the album’s purpose is to “give people something joyous during a time of deep uncertainty and turmoil.”
“never mind, let’s break up” by LANY
Synth pop band LANY give fans yet another taste of their upcoming album gg bb xx with the emotion filled “never mind, let’s break up.” The album is due to be released September 3rd and will feature previous releases “up to me” and “dancing in the kitchen” with their tour kicking off at the Las Vegas music festival Life Is Beautiful.
“Think Of Me Tonight” by LiL Lotus
Produced by the legendary John Feldmann, “Think Of Me Tonight” epitomizes the entire pop-punk sound that was popular in the early 2000’s. The song appears on the newly released album ERRØR BØY via Epitaph. LiL Lotus kicked off his tour last night at The Echo and All Access was there to experience the show. Check out the review HERE.
“Quiet On Set” by Remi Wolf
Island Records artist Remi Wolf shares two new songs “Quiet On Set” and “Grumpy Old Man” alongside the announcement of her debut album Juno which is set to release October 16th. “Quiet On Set” showcases an introspective and youthful spirit that Wolf has come to be known for in her music.
“Sheesh!” by Surfaces & Tai Verdas
Having already proved their dominance of the laid-back / feel good sound, the 10K Projects band Surfaces continues with the help of Artista Records artist Tai Verdas. Whether on the beach, by the pool or stuck in traffic on the 101, this song is sure to brighten your day and summer.
