Last week, Toronto’s most recent musical gift, Once A Tree, released their newest track Fine… which is definitely more than fine. Steadily growing their fan base since their debut EP Thousand Lives (2015), Jayli Wolf and Hayden Wolf are establishing a sensual and intriguing world of music all their own. Combining the transcendent elements of electronic inspired melodies with dreamy synths, Fine showcases the band’s growth in curating their sound.
Staying authentic to the musical style of previous releases, such as the more dub-step rhythmed tack Howling (2015) and the ominous slightly subdued melodies of Hide (2016), they have successfully fused the genres of dance, pop, and hip-hop into a track that makes you wish it never ended. With new music on the way be sure to follow them and stay up on their next move!
