SONY Hosted An Immersive Event Featuring Major Music Act, THE CHAINSMOKERS And Playstation Virtual Reality Technology!

Last night, Friday January 13th, SONY hosted an epic, immersive, live music experience called The Beginning/Lost In Music. The event featured the freshest Sony technology and a secret show by the chart-topping dance duo The Chainsmokers. All the music and festivities were held at LA’s well-known Hangar Studios.

As soon as you entered the space, you were welcomed into a cold and white wintery wonderland. Fake snow covered the ground and machines spouted it from the ceiling as well. The staff even offered warm white blankets to warm up. Once inside, people formed lines to go inside private rooms to enjoy the virtual reality headsets.

After enjoying this space, next up was a large open area where various DJs played thunderous house and techno music and drinks flowed at several bars. The large room was lined with various fake trees and bushes and the sky was filled with large fluffy clouds. Colorful lights were seen everywhere as well.

Lost Kings got the dance party started in the room first. Then the headliner act, The Chainsmokers got the crowd going at about 9 with their brand of bass-bumping tracks. The duo delighted the crowd by premiering their brand new single called “Paris.”

This unparalleled new music festival experience marked Sony’s 2017 trek to the edge and beyond that will give us new ways to experience live music and the feeling of being truly, blissfully, lost in the sound; a perfect way to kick off the new year.
