In total, 32 new acts have been added including Radiohead, Róisín Murphy, Afrika Bambaataa, Kelela, and Action Bronson , plus Icelandic artists Bang Gang, Mammút, Fufanu, Rix, Faces Of Walls, and many others. This brings the announced set of names to 92 in total, with more to be announced.
The event’s third edition is set for June 17th-19th, 2016, in the center of Iceland’s capital city Reykjavík. Held over the summer solstice weekend, in Iceland this means three full days of never-ending daylight due to the close proximity to the Arctic Circle, which has wowed visitors from all over the world for the past three years.
A host of ticketing options are available for the 2016 event HERE , with 3-day passes starting from 24,900kr ($190), VIP passes at 34,900kr ($267), or for those wanting the ultimate experience, exclusive Óðinn Super-VIP tickets limited to only 50 guests at 129,900kr ($990). The festival recently also announced their Package Of The Gods for only three people to add on additional luxury options to their festival experience, though it comes at a premium price of 1.5 million Icelandic krona, around $11,500 USD.
The festival has also announced the addition of its third and final side event in the form of the Midnight Sun Boat Party, a late-night DJ event on a boat that takes guests out into the Atlantic to watch the sun touch the horizon after midnight. With only 200 tickets on offer, this will likely be a truly unique experience for a handful of festival guests to add on top of the main event.
This adds to the already announced world’s only party inside a glacier – Secret Solstice presents Into The Glacier – as well as the Secret Lagoon Party, at a geothermal pool in Iceland’s oldest volcano-powered nature bath outside of Reykjavík. Tickets for both exclusive events are close to sold out, so get them while supplies last!
Foreign guests traveling to Iceland for this year’s event over the summer solstice weekend have more choice than ever when it comes to travel options, with both Gaman Travel and Festicket offering discounted deals including event passes, accommodation, and flights. Apart from standard hostel and hotel options, guests can stay as close to the action as possible with on-site camping from as little as 9,900kr (approx $75) for the entire event weekend.
For guests traveling from the (UK/USA/EU), Secret Solstice has full package deals available now starting at only 83,500kr (approximately $650USD), with departure locations including London, Washington D.C., Boston, Amsterdam, Toronto, and many others.

About the Author
Nicole DeRosa joined the All Access Music Group family in February 2012. She loves the infectious energy and enthusiasm of the music industry and she feels right at home having music compliment her every day. Nicole blends her experience and skills which she has culled from her time working in New York as a photo researcher and editor at Entertainment Weekly and Harpers Bazaar Magazine. After New York, Nicole moved to London for school and there she stood in line for hours on Oxford Street to hear Paul McCartney play an impromptu concert on a rooftop. Another notable experience while living in London was her first time ever calling into a radio station, she won an invite to a record release party with the Beastie Boys for their album 'Ill Communication'. "I love London as it has such a vibrant and diverse music scene and I couldn't help but go out every night to check out gig after gig. It was a wonderful time." Living near the notable Sherpards Bush Empire music venue one of her most favorite concerts to date was seeing Bjork. Nicole has also worked for Walt Disney World in Product Development and later went on to work at Disney's Feature Animation Archives in Florida. Nicole has a passion for travel and adventure and has always wanted to live in California so she packed up and moved four years ago to the "left coast" and has been loving it ever since.
