O-Town/N Sync/Miley Cyrus With Avril Lavigne via Instagram
April 1st had the internet littered with tons of prank blog posts in honor of April fools day. Our #ICYMI section over at Clizbeats pointed out a cool one that Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne did together on Instagram. Click here for prank pics and video.
The biggest online prank mentioned was probably when Ryanseacrest.com said that Miley was serving as the opening act for a reunited N Sync. The prank went on to say that the former boy band would follow the success of their 2013 surprise VMA performance, with a tour, and two new songs for a greatest hits package.
That excitement was quickly halted when the post’s last sentence admitted to it all being a work of fiction. Despite the disappointment of being April fooled, the concept seemed very possible because they weren’t the only early 2000s boy band to get press for reuniting. O-Town, minus Ashley Parker Angel, announced last week that they have reunited to do new music and a new tour. We celebrated the occasion by looking back on their career and their biggest hit “All Or Nothing.” Head over to Clizbeats and check it out by clicking here.
