Music’s Biggest Event For Families- RADIO DISNEY MUSIC AWARDS Aired On Sunday, May 1st!

Last night, Disney Channel aired the Annual Radio Disney Music Awards. All Access was lucky enough to attend and enjoy all the action in person. The event was held in downtown Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater. The venue was packed with fans young and old, eager to catch a glimpse of one of their favorite teen pop stars.

The almost 3-hour long event was kicked off by Flo Rida performing his hit, “My House.” The program continued to include performances from a variety of today’s chart topping artists and appearances by many of the who’s who in Hollywood today.

Some of the winners of the night included Fifth Harmony for Best Music Group, Selena Gomez for Best Female Artist, One Direction’s “Perfect” won for Best Crush Song, Ed Sheeran won for Best Male Artists, Taylor Swift won for Most Talked About Artist, Becky G for Best Style and many others. Winners were given a large “Golden Mickey” trophy called an Ardy.

Towards the end of the evening, Pharrell presented Gwen Stefani with the Special Hero Award for all her philanthropic work.

After each award announcement, there were man incredible performances. Ariana Grande, Daya, Kelsea Ballerini, Hailee Steinfeld, Zara Larsson, Jordan Smith and Gwen Stefani were a few of the stand out ones.

Known as “music’s biggest event for families”, it was definitely a fun family show that children of all ages were encouraged to watch and attend.
