The musician WakeyWakey (Michael Grubbs) recently signed to The End Records/ADA. This independent solo act is set to release a digital EP entitled “Homeless Poets” on September 25th, as well as full-length visual studio album early 2016.
His debut album, “Almost Everything I Wish I’d Said the Last Time I Saw You” featured the hit single “War Sweater,” which premiered on the prime-time drama, One Tree Hill and soared to number 13 on the iTunes charts.
Says Grubbs, “I couldn’t be happier … it’s been a crazy few years for me, at times really amazing, and at times really rough … I took all of that and poured it into a new album. I’ve returned to my roots in every way imaginable, and as a result, some amazing things are happening.”
