Last week, the R&B songstress, Angie Stone released her seventh studio album entitled “Dream” on Shanachie Entertainment in collaboration with Conjunction Entertainment Inc. Music executive Walter W. Millsap III and TopNotch Music.
In 1999, Stone released her debut solo album “Black Diamond,” which garnered two Grammy nods and featured the hit single “No More Rain (In This Cloud).” Since then she has maintained a presence in the spotlight, appearing on Broadway, television and in major motion pictures.
In Stone’s career, she has been nominated for three Grammy Awards. She has been most successful on the R&B charts, with four top 10 albums, including a number one, and 10 singles, including a top 10. To date, she has sold over 9.4 million albums in the U.S. and over ten million worldwide.
