Thanks for your time! Given everything that is going on in the world today, how are you staying sane and continuing with your music?

I’m staying sane by calling a lot of my friends & family through this tough time. We’re all going through this tough time together so being able to talk about the mental struggles with people I love really does help! When it comes to continuing my music, im building up as many thoughts/emotions during this time & translating it into new songs!
How has this pandemic changed your day to day liF? Is your city in starting to open up more now? Have you been able to get out and work on your music much?
The pandemic has changed my day to day life by spending too much time on social media haha. Thats one thing I need to balance more. With all this extra time, It makes it difficult to not scroll every chance you got! Ive been able to go to a couple outdoor restaurants & im not going to lie, seeing people in public/ enjoying a meal, was quite therapeutic!
Do you feel like social media has become even more important these days? How are you trying to stay connected to your fans?
Social media has become one of the most important tools these days. Especially when it comes to digital brand deals & the increase of engagement! With everyone working from home, ive seen a lot of companies going directly digital which create more opportunities for infuencers! Staying connected by doing more & more live streams
Let’s talk about your brand new single, “Workin’.” What was the inspiration for this track? How would you say that it compares to anything else you have released?
My inspiration behind “Workin” was to simply motivate people to get up from the couch, refresh your mindset & bring back some uplifting energy! Especially knowing the crazy state our world is at the moment… knowing I motivated just one person to get active again, makes it worth it! I’ve never created such a high energy song, which is perfect for those Tiktok sounds! (Haha)
What was it like making the music video for “Workin'”? Was it made during the quarantine and if so, what was that experience like for you?
The making of the “Workin” music video was historic for me. Let me tell you why. I had 10 of my family members apart of the video & It was the first time I’ve ever seen my 2 sisters, 2 brothers & mom together in person. That alone, meant the world. But to also showcase my craft in front of my blood family made the whole video worth it. The music video was made during quarantine which made it so difficult to find locations, correct clothing & production. Plus, I flew all the way to Chicago because I wanted the video to represent where I came from & my journey from where it all started!

I’m curious to know how you think your experiences dancing on shows like Nickelodeon’s Kid Sports, Kids Choice and Halo Awards, X Factor, Dancing With The Stars and World of Dance have influenced or really changed the kind of performer that you are today? What has been your favorite experience out of all these?
With the experience of dancing on multiple national TV shows, it helped me have a true understanding of how to perform in front of a camera & create eye candy! It’s given me a part of confidence to when a camera is shoved in my face at any time of the day! My favorite TV performance was performing in the middle of Times Square on GOOD MORNING AMERICA with my 4 other homies! We created a viral Hoverboard dance to Justin Bieber “What Do You Mean” song & that gave us that specific opportunity!
You have created a lot of viral videos online so I’d like to know what you think truly makes a viral video? What do people want to see online right now?
What truly makes a viral video is being able to relate to the world as a whole. All ages, different kind of artists & being innovative!!! The world has seen so much already so when there’s something that hasn’t been done before or a comedic presence that relates to everyone, its bound to stick out from all the other videos!
How have you been affected this incredibly necessary and overdue Black Lives Matter movement? How do you think it will affect future music?
Listen, everyday is BLACK LIVES MATTER. I’ve been inspired by black culture my entire life. From the way I dress, dance & sing! I’ve helped educate not only myself on history but my platform, friends & family. I wish I was doing this even before the overdue, Black Lives Matter movement. But its a start & I’m going to continue to do so.

If you could get into the studio with absolutely any artist today, who would it be and why them? What artists have continued to inspire you two and the kind of music that you make?
If I could get in the studio w/ any artist, I would have to give it to Kid Laroi. His melodies, emotion in songs & vocal ability has inspired me the most these last couple of months.
