JLo Talks About Her Return To American Idol

After many days of speculation American Idol finally announced the judging panel for their next season this past Tuesday. Following rumors of participants that included big names like Sean “Diddy” Combs and Scooter Braun, Fox officially revealed that Jennifer Lopez would be returning to the judge’s table with newcomer Harry Connick Jr. Fox executive Kevin Reilly also announced that Jlo wouldn’t be the only judge returning to the show.  The word is that AI  vet Randy Jackson will return in a newly formed mentoring position. Although TMZ broke the news of her new AI involvement a bit earlier than expected, Jennifer appeared to be in great spirits about returning to the show. She told Ryan Seacrest how important it was for her to return America’s favorite singing competition despite being busy promoting her eight album produced by RedOne.
