Fleetwood Mac have been churning out hits since they were first formed in 1967. They have sold more 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time. So, it’s no surprise that a Fleetwood Mac Fest celebrating the music of Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie would bring in so many people and so many incredible musical guests to perform their songs.
On February 9th and 10th, the Hollywood venue, Fonda Theatre hosted Fleetwood Mac Fest. Presented by The Best Fest, this two-night extravaganza benefited Sweet Relief and The Sweet Stuff Foundation. These two organizations provide financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability or age-related problems.
Musicians from all genres and even a few celebrities turned out for the festivities to perform their favorite Fleetwood Mac numbers. It certainly made for quite the entertaining evening. Like a revolving door, artists took turns on the stage and there was hardly ever a stop in the music. Just a few of the songs played were “Hold Me”, “Little Lies”, “Say You Love Me”, “Landslide”, “Gypsy”, “Rhiannon” and so many others.
