When speaking about the cinema event, the band said:
“We put more blood, sweat and lasers into planning the Smoke + Mirrors Tour than any performance we’ve given to date, and it’s something we’ll always remember. This event captures that live energy in an incredibly immersive way. We can’t wait to show it to fans all over the world who either want to relive the experience we shared together or see it for the first time.”
“Imagine Dragons in Concert: Smoke + Mirrors” highlights some of the band’s greatest hits such as “Demons,” “It’s Time” and the Grammy® Award-winning “Radioactive” from the KIDinaKORNER/ Interscope Records platinum-selling debut album “Night Visions.” Their sophomore album “Smoke + Mirrors” album charted at no. 1 around the world and features recent hits such as “I Bet My Life”, “Gold” and “Shots,” all performed as part of the upcoming cinema event. The concert has been described as “a blast of strong emotions” by the LA Times including unique visuals and personal interaction between the band and the audience. Moviegoers will be able to see how their sound and concert experience has evolved since their debut album.
“Fans of all ages will get to experience the original Smoke + Mirrors concert up-close-and-personal with the band on the big screen. Concert events in a movie theater offer the best seats in the house with incredible surround sound technology and close-up visuals to provide the ultimate cinematic music experience,” said Fathom Events Vice President of Programming, Kymberli Frueh.
