Get Up To Speed With Timeflies
Island/Def Jam recording artists TimeFlies released their new four song EP called Warning Signs last Monday. It follows their prior EP One Night, which was released in November of last year. Timeflies told Billboard.com, “using every spare moment we have to craft a project that we feel is truly taking our sound to the next level… [the EP] is a sign of things to come, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”

We feel like they are really a duo to keep your eye on for sure. They’ve already been getting some great support from a variety of MTV channels and Fuse. Timeflies, Cal and Rez began producing music while at college outside Boston, where they first played together in a band known as the Ride. After forming Timeflies in 2010 and releasing their first half-dozen singles, their debut album arrived in 2011, The Scotch Tape (owing to Cal’s love of scotch). A six-track sample-based mixtape titled Under The Influence was released in July 2012, followed four months later by the One Night EP. ). In addition to their non-stop flow of singles and videos, they have gained worldwide notoriety with Timeflies Tuesday – an ongoing series in which they stay connected with their followers across the web by releasing remixes, live covers, and freestyling over original beats. One of their most famous examples of dong this is when they released a mash up that included the hook of Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop.” We’ve been floored with appreciation for them ever since we heard them do their thing. We’re betting you will too. Click here to get up to date on what they’re doing and see if you share our interest. Cheers.
