Music’s biggest night is approaching, and naturally it’s given us a few things to update you on. The show’s host, LL Cool J did the funniest talk show appearance that we’ve seen in a while, when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Liveto promote the ceremony this past Monday night. One of the details that we’re excited about, and that we think you absolutely need to keep an eye out for, is the Grammy Foundation’s first annual music educator award! The foundation released a press release on the matter, and within about a day and a half, Kent Kanappenberger, a music teacher from Westfield Academy in Westfield New York, became one of our biggest music news stories of the week. From what we can tell, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. The Grammy Foundation released a brief bio video of him talking about his life. If that isn’t enough teen pop fans can look forward to You Tube star turned YMCMB signee Austine Mahone debut his new song called “MMM Yea” as part of his new Aquafina commercial. The tune is said to feature Pitbull, so it’s probably worth a listen. Check out more details here.
