Geared Up For The Grammys: What To Expect
Music’s biggest night is approaching, and naturally it’s given us a few things to update you on. The show’s host, LL Cool J did the funniest talk show appearance that we’ve seen in a while, when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Liveto promote the ceremony this past Monday night. He joked with Jimmy about his early days in the industry, while also giving a great deal of context to the history he’s seen in his 30 year old career. Click here to check it out.

The Grammy MC was quick to avoid many of the specifics thrown at him, but some key names were added to an already impressive long list of chat toppers. Hunter Hayes Nine Inch Nails, Queens of The Stone Age, and Lindsay Buckingham were announced as performers earlier this week, while Bruno Mars and Ariana Grande are to present. One of the details that we’re excited about, and that we think you absolutely need to keep an eye out for, is the Grammy Foundation’s first annual music educator award! The foundation released a press release on the matter, and within about a day and a half, Kent Kanappenberger, a music teacher from Westfield Academy in Westfield New York, became one of our biggest music news stories of the week. From what we can tell, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. The Grammy Foundation released a brief bio video of him talking about his life. If that isn’t enough teen pop fans can look forward to You Tube star turned YMCMB signee Austine Mahone debut his new song called “MMM Yea” as part of his new Aquafina commercial. The tune is said to feature Pitbull, so it’s probably worth a listen. Check out more details here.
