Florida Georgia Line Ready To Kick Off The ‘Good Times’
“Who’s ready for a midday party with Florida Georgia Line (FGL)?” – this was the question Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta asked to kick off today’s (10/1) “Here’s To The Good Times” festivities. After watching the performance that followed, there is no doubt Republic Nashville duo FGL’s “Here’s To The Good Times Tour 2013” will be anything short of a GREAT TIME.
First off, the big topic is that FGL will release a DELUXE EDITION of their album “Here’s To The Good Times: This Is How We Roll” later this year. The project will include five new tracks never before released. The even bigger topic is that – what I’m convinced will be one of the biggest tours to finish this year – the “Here’s To The Good Times Tour 2013” will kick off this Thursday, October 3rd in Brookings, SD.
If the tour was anything like today’s rehearsals, fans are in for a treat. The energy, stage presence, lights and video backdrops are all electrifying. I mean, I think I got an adrenaline rush just watching them rehearse a few songs; I can’t even imagine what the experience will be once the curtains fall for a sold-out crowd.
The show will be personal in a sense that it will showcase the duo’s hit songs, as well as album favorites. It will also showcase music videos, many photos of the duo and even a few snippets of familiar hit songs you may not normally hear FGL sing. Adding Tyler Farr and Colt Ford into the mix will only enhance the experience.
If you are one of the lucky ones to have gotten a ticket to any of their 34 sold-out shows in 32 different cities, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
