Bruce Springsteen Tops The Chart With Latest Album
It’s a big week for Bruce Springsteen! His latest album High Hopes has become the 11th number 1 album of his celebrated career. After pushing Disney’s mega hit soundtrack for Frozen down to number 2, the boss has also pushed Elvis Presley out of his way in the music record books. According to Billboard, Springsteen now has the 3rd most number 1 albums in history. The Boss is beaten by Jay-Z, who has 13 number 1 albums, and The Beatles, who have 19 to their credit. That said, it’s pretty good company to be in.
The reasons for the Springsteen family to celebrate don’t end there. The man who made his career making music for and about blue-collar workers, now has a son who is one of them. Bruce’s son Sam has now joined the New Jersey Fire department. Click here to read our coverage about Sam’s achievement.
