Brandon and Leah Welcome New EP!

On Monday, April 8th, I was lucky enough to be a guest at the EP Release Party for singer/songwriter duo, Brandon and Leah where I was treated to a performance by them. It was held at the rooftop of the Empire West Condominiums in West Hollywood, CA.

Malibu natives, Brandon and Leah, are a two-piece, too-cute guitar and ukulele duo made of real-life couple Brandon Jenner (singing/songwriting son of former Olympic athlete and current Kardashian-in-law Bruce Jenner) and Leah Felder (daughter of Eagles guitarist Don Felder). The pair have been making big ripples with their hit song, “Showstopper” and accompanying video on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0r-_nSo_ppk

Their free spirited demeanor comes naturally to the pair and it was immediately visible when they set foot on the rooftop stage. Despite the very windy night, Leah’s blonde locks looked glamorous and swayed perfectly. Brandon’s effortless and mellow nature was apparent as he strummed the guitar along to Leah’s sultry vocals. They created a calm environment and their modern, electro-pop-soul twist on the Southern California sound soothed the crowd.
This is a pair that I am sure will be earning the spotlight at many shows to come in the future.
