Singer/songwriter and self-proclaimed “anti-socialite” Alex Kinsey begins a new era of music with the release of lead single, “Antisocial Person” from his upcoming sophomore EP of the same name. The single follows up 2019’s debut EP, Party Of One.

After being shot into the spotlight after winning the talent competition show X Factor as one half of the duo Alex & Sierra in 2013, Kinsey has had “varied career in music” over the years. From the success following X Factor that led to two albums and three tours under Alex & Sierra, to the creation of the band BoTalks in 2017 (whose lead single featured Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland), Kinsey decided to “step out from behind the safety of a band” in 2019 to pursue his solo career through his own label.

Racking up over 900 millions plays on Spotify and 200+ million views on YouTube the Daytona Beach native is ready for the next chapter with his upcoming EP, Antisocial Person. Although, sometimes the parties have a dog built in, so in that case I don’t mind being at the party.

Because then I can go to bed whenever I want

#5: DRINK AT HOME ALONE

Cause then you don’t have to answer to anyone about it.

Because what’s easier than going out on a Friday? Getting felt-up by TSA on a Tuesday.

Except for in California, because there’s more people sitting in the lineup than at a party.

#8: SLEEP

I know I’m not the only one that feels this way.

#9: MAKE A LIST ABOUT ALL OF THE THINGS I WOULD RATHER DO THAN GO TO A PARTY

Which is ACTUALLY what I’m using as an excuse to not be social at this very moment.
