“Give Love” is the latest single from the chart-topping and Pop Prince, Andy Grammer. Featuring LunchMoney Lewis, the track is everything that you would want from Grammer and so much more. It’s fun, it’s absolutely positive and it has a catchy hook.
“Even a song like ‘Give Love’, in my head, there’s a question as I’m writing it going ‘Is this cheesy? Is it too on the nose to say ‘give love?’ But that’s what I feel, so screw it. The world is tough right now. We need this.” – Grammer explained in a recent interview regarding the new single.
Last night, (Tuesday July 11) the singer and his incredible 8-piece band (including a horn section) delighted a specially invited group of music industry professionals to the Hollywood venue, Hyde Sunset, for an exclusive sneak peek of his new music. With plans to release his third as yet untitled studio album this fall via S-Curve/Hollywood Records, the crowd was eager to hear what he has been
working on since his 2014 album, “Magazines or Novels” was released.
Along with new songs, Grammer also performed a few of his biggest hits, including “Keep Your Head Up,” “Fine By Me,” “Honey, I’m Good,” “Fresh Eyes” and wrapped up the show with a lively rendition of “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah).”
As far as new music goes, he played his brand new single “Give Love” with a special appearance by rapper Lunchmoney Lewis. Andy also sang new songs “Spaceship” which is a tribute to his mother and “The Good Part.”
One highlight of the show was getting to see Grammer play the trumpet. The singer’s performance really was flawless. He was charming with his sweet anecdotes between each song and even revealed that he might have to end the set early since his very pregnant wife might go into labor!
His infectious positive energy was felt throughout the space and despite being an industry event, the crowd was dancing along to every song. All Access is looking forward to hearing more new music from this true artist!
