8th Annual Scott Medlock – Robby Krieger Invitational & All Star Concert Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® breaks $500,000 fundraising goal!
The eighth-annual Scott Medlock – Robby Krieger Invitational & All-Star Concert benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital presented by Microsemi and Monster Energy, and hosted by internationally renowned sports artist, Scott Medlock, and Robby Krieger, legendary guitarist for The Doors, at the Moorpark Country Club in Moorpark on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015 broke all fundraising expectations.
Medlock and Krieger, friends of more than 25 years share a passion for philanthropy and have organized this event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.® This year they honored James Peterson, CEO of Microsemi, who has been instrumental in the success of the event and a huge supporter for the mission of St. Jude to find cures & save the lives of children suffering from pediatric cancer and other deadly diseases.

After raising more than $405,000 last year, they exceeded their $500,000 goalwhich will be used to help ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Such as Beth and her 16 year old son Christian who is a ten-year childhood medulloblastoma cancer survivor thanks to the support at treatment received at St. Jude.
The Scott Medlock – Robby Krieger Invitational & All-Star Concert kicked off with golf tournament and featured celebrity golfers; Adrian Young of No Doubt, Kenny Gradney of Little Feat, Robert Hays (Airplane), John O’Hurley (Seinfeld), Debbe Dunning (Home Improvement), Leyna Nguyen (KCAL), Kato Kaelin, Devin Devasquez (The Bay), and Stephen Bishop (Being Mary Jane), followed by “The 19th Hole” party presented by A La Maison, Waste Management, Jakks Pacific, Hyatt, Vista Auto and Vanacore Music.

An All-Star Concert on a custom-built stage overlooking the Moorpark Country Club driving range presented by Monster Energy concluded the day, featuring the host, Robby Krieger of THE DOORS, jamming with celebrity guests including; Jack Black of TENACIOUS D who performed “Hello, I Love You” and “Cherry Bomb with Cherie Currie of THE RUNAWAYS, Orianthi of Michael Jackson & Alice Cooper, Richie Sambora of BON JOVI, Terri Nunn of BERLIN, Danny Seraphine of CHICAGO / CTA, Sebastian Bach of SKID ROW, Brett Scallions of FUEL, Ronn Moss of PLAYER, Steve Molitz of PARTICLE, David Sikes of BOSTON, Ray Goren, David Vanacore, Patrick Lamb, Phil Chen, Dave Brock, Ty Dennis, Kit Potamkin and Gary Mule Deer.

Living near the notable Sherpards Bush Empire music venue one of her most favorite concerts to date was seeing Bjork. Nicole has also worked for Walt Disney World in Product Development and later went on to work at Disney's Feature Animation Archives in Florida. Nicole has a passion for travel and adventure and has always wanted to live in California so she packed up and moved four years ago to the "left coast" and has been loving it ever since.
