Last week on Wednesday September 13th, the 80’s teen pop star, Tiffany, entertained a mighty crowd at LA’s Sunset Strip venue, Whiskey A Go Go.
Thanks in part to an original mall tour, “The Beautiful You: Celebrating The Good Life Shopping Mall Tour ’87”, Tiffany found incredible commercial success and a devoted fan-base. That incredible fan-base is still alive and well and some are even living in Los Angeles and came out in full force to this performance.
Known for her 1987 singles “I Think We’re Alone Now,” “Could’ve Been” and “I Saw Him Standing There,” the lively audience was eager to hear the singer belt out these tunes along with newer ones. For one night, Tiffany performed some of her favorite tunes for about an hour. Early on in the night, she even told the crowd that every show is different and she hand-picks each song that she performs. This even included a rousing Guns N Roses cover! This show was part of her “A Million Miles Tour.”
It was clear from the very first song that Tiffany loves being up on the stage, loves singing and loves her fans. She continually asked the crowd to dance, sing along, have fun and cheers drinks with her. The rambunctious crowd even included a few celebrities like Lance Bass, Dennis Haskins, (Saved By The Bell’s Mr. Belding) Ron Jeremy and Lisa Vanderpump from the Bravo show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
